A documentary/film essay/travelogue about the nature of memories and how they affect how we perceive everything, while the director himself plays a fictional character who is writing letters to a friend that is narrating them during his travels. I can't say that I've seen another film like it. It was interesting, thought provoking and creative. You've got to appreciate the man's creativity and ideas, whether if you enjoy his films or not. As for me, I appreciated it and moderately enjoyed it.
