I recently watched Gigi. Gigi was an odd little movie. It featured much delightful singing and a sometimes overacted Leslie Caron. I found it mostly charming, though it also didn't do much once the main plot was introduced. I wasn't blown away but still one of my favorite of the 50's Best Picture winners.
PS: Louis Jourdan looked like Michael Fassbender in his young days. It was quite odd.

1958 must have been a shitty year for movies if this won Best Picture.
