I thought so when I first watched these movies as a teen. I dunno, though; I've just rewatched Beneath, and it does have some interesting things going on.

I'm sure I will still prefer Escape and Conquest, but this one is not as terrible as I remember. It's short enough; its sins aren't too egregious.
