Good sequel. Though I prefer the first, I did like the "final girl" in this one better.

Honestly, I loved it even more then the first (and that’s saying a lot.) The characters were great and likable, which is always nice in a slasher. It had a great pace too it like the original, not lingering but also not zipping by too fast. The score is masterclass, always keeping you on edge. And the best part about this movie: Jason. He is 200% terrifying. Every time he’s around it leaves me super tense. He’s full of rage and the actor playing him really sales it. And his cloth covering his face, with a hole for his always wide open eye, just creeps me out so much. This also a very underrated slasher, despite staring the first adult Jason killer. It’s also a must watch for any horror fan like the first. It’s already among my favorite horror films, it’s excellent.
