Sure, it's not on the same level as Star Wars or The Empire Strikes Back, but it's still a great sci-fi movie.

I agree Caesar, Return of the Jedi is not on the same level as The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: A New Hope but still it is a great sci-fi movie and I also have Return of the Jedi in my Top 15 Favorite movies list for nostalgia feelings.

7 on Flickchart!?!? Really? I call this movie, overrated. Don't get me wrong, I still love it but by no means is it the 7th greatest film ever made..

While I admit that Return of the Jedi is the weakest of the original trilogy, it is also my favorite. It has two of my favorite sequences ever put on film. The first is the beginning of the film starting with Vader's arrival on the Death Star II and ending with Han's rescue from Jabba's Palace. It is absolutely amazing. My other favorite happens to be my favorite Star Wars moment. It is the Death Star throne room sequence with the final confrontation between The Emperor, Luke, and Darth Vader. Everything about that is perfect and stands as the definitive moment of the trilogy. I find this film to be underrated.

Granted, it's the weakest of the prequels but it is in no way a bad film.

Sorry, I don't know why I said prequels. I meant originals.

Its sudden death continues. A very odd and dated movie. If it gotta be bad in the next re-watch, I'm not will be surprised.

You gotta be kidding me, guys. Don't you think that Episode VI has a better happy ending? Return of the Jedi is better than The Phantom Menace. Episode V and VI should be better besides Episode IV.
