Wow. Absolutely blown away by how good this was. As good as, or maybe even better, than Force Awakens and for me the best movie of 2016 (along with Arrival). 9/10

Wasnt expecting much but damn Rogue One was a Blast! a true cinematic experience! Was like a WW2 film at times and the characters were great the film is action packed along with good funny moments and very bleak kinda sad at times- a true Sci-Fi wonder!

Great plot development, great new worlds and incredible connectivity to the original trilogy and even the prequels! Plus an amazing ending! I would take it over the Force Awakens.

Such an unconventional, exuberant and mind blowing addition to the beloved franchise.

Fun addition to the series. Nothing special, though.

Exhilarating, beautiful, and entertaining. However, the characters are flat and the first act a bit messy. I really liked Rogue One, but I didn't love it, like I did with The Force Awakens---a film that had great characters and a thoroughly confident narrative from beginning to end. The third act is tremendous though. Bottom line is, that while not as impressive as some of the other films the franchise has to offer, Rogue One is still an entertaining and bold move for the saga in a galaxy far, far away.

The setup is a bit messy, but it gets better as it goes along. The last Vader scene was awesome.

Spurts of good filmmaking and action sequence structure are held back by thin characterizations and a lack of human charisma.
