The film does a great job of having the viewer sympathize with these farmers and share in their anger and frustration over these bulldozers coming and destroying half of their crops to build a fence. Yet, they continue to peacefully protest every week even when innocent people have been killed and all hope seems lost. The intercutting of those events with Emad filming his youngest son growing up, add a lot of emotional depth to the film. Great documentary. Very informative.
