Well, went out to se Wreck-It Ralph with a really over-the-top,espectacular,legendary hype, and that maybe was a major motive to the "meeeeh...it's alright" feeling right in the end with the credits rolling down. It's a decent disney animation...but that's the word that defined it for me: Decent. They still need to take tons of Pixar classes.

I went in there and came out extremely happy and full of so many beautiful feelings. The characters were adorable yet managed to be lovable, the script was brilliantly intelligent, the nostalgia was well executed, it was extremely heartwarming and wonderfully funny. IMO, highly recommended (in fact, I'm planning to see it for the third time this weekend, if I get the chance - this is one of those rare films that gets better even when seen more than once).
If I had a favourite character, it would be Fix-It Felix Jr. He was just adorably animated but also adorably personified. I could say that of all the characters, but I have to say that he had that something about him that really appealed to me (plus his expressions just kill me inside).

Very enjoyable animated film, but hardly at the level of Pixar's best. Loved allthe video game references.

Fun story, but the pacing was too slow. Enjoyed it.
