I just don't get all the praise that this movie gets. It starts a few interesting ideas, but it doesn't play them out to their fullest potential, and the entire story is watered down with cliche secondary characters and a very slow plot. While not a bad movie (most of the acting is pretty good and it does have one or two good scenes), I just can't say that I'd recommend seeing it.

A brilliant coming of age film set in Europe with Vampires! not a scary film kinda sweet but bloody and well written a not typical Monster film or romantic adolecent one either very smart and the slow pacing sets the timeline and makes the world seem so isolated and very cold! I an also relate a bit with the characters!

I really liked the relationship between the kids, both of which gave strong performances. An interesting take on the Vampire genre.
