thank you. i saw that you had tree of life as your #1 so i thought you probably had pretty good taste. also since you had "boonmee" as your name, which is a movie i can't find anywhere, but really want to see it.

Glad to hear that you're interested in Uncle Boonmee! I saw it through my local art house theater earlier this year. If you have netflix, I believe it's on instant play there. It's an absolutely terrific film, and I have it my #2 movie of 2011.

sadly i don't have a netflix, I'm one of those people who is still mad that it replaced blockbusters. but maybe it's time i get one.

We have more or less 30 movies in our top 100 in common. That's a very high number, I think. Ratatouille rarely gets the love it deserves.

that is a pretty high number, and im sure it will go up as i continue to see more movies. and i agree 100% i love all pixar (besides cars/ a bug's life) but i think Ratatouille is on another level. and most people i know love Wall.E but seem to dismiss Ratatouille it as true art.

I love your top 10 thanks for the friend request. I love The Tree of Life and There Will Be Blood. Also I see Spirited Away in your top really need to see it. Another great movie I watched last night was Pan's Labyrinth (it was my 2nd viewing) and it's great. Other than The Tree of Life (my favorite movie ever) I'd say it's the best of The 21st Century along with There Will Be Blood and I'm sure Spirited Away will be up there to. Message me back thanks!
