Hmm. My favorite from their respective trilogies here. "Black Pearl" was a genuinely fun adventure flick. "Two Towers," however, was the backbone of a grand epic. I'm more likely to re-watch "Pirates," but I think I'm voting for LOTR.

Pirates of the Caribbean was way more fun. The Two Towers had an exciting battle, but the movie overall isn't as entertaining as The Curse of the Black Pearl. Keira Knightley is hot, which helps.

Overall LotR is the better trilogy, but two towers is the weakest of the series. The Curse of the Black Pearl is the best of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies... so do the math...
Two Towers is the weakest Rings film in my mind as well. However, every Rings film beats every Pirates film, despite Johnny Depp, who is the only thing that saves Black Pearl from being average at best. (I do quite enjoy the film, though.)

I don't think Two Towers was the weakest in the epic trilogy (I still think it was the first), but I really enjoyed the first Pirates (as well as the sequel--didn't care for the third). All things considered, Two Towers is a far better movie.
Every Rings film was better than the Pirates films.

The first Pirates movie was the best, but that´s still not enough to beat a LotR movie.

This one's tricky for me, because the 1st Pirates was for me innovative and enterprising. Much more distinct in it's trilogy than that of the 2nd Lord of the Rings. To me sometimes with trilogies the style of the movies makes the trilogy kind of meld together and soon the individual movies become difficult to distinguish. But the first Pirates certainly stands out among the other two movies.

Every LotR is better than POTC
FotR > CotBP > TTT > RotK > DMC > OST > AWE
The Two Towers is my favorite LotR film, Black Pearl is not my favorite Pirates film.

No Pirates film will ever beat a LOTR film!
The Two Towers is the only Lord of the Rings film I didn't like. Pirates of the Caribbean was loads of big, stupid fun. I would certainly watch Pirates again, but I'll be avoiding The Two Towers (despite the fact that Gollum is awesome).
