Game Night vs. Baskin

Baskin is plenty sick and twisted. Game Night has some dark humor, but is overall a fairly conventional film. The heroes never really seem like they are in danger because they get out of life-threatening situations with relative ease. And what's with Bateman's gunshot wound? Shouldn't it hurt more? He uses the arm like nothing happened. Baskin is not so merciful with its treatment of violence. It's actually quite nasty and perverse. Where am I going with this? I guess that Game Night could've been darker. It still wins, since Baskin doesn't really lend itself to repeat viewings. (I do admit to rewatching the disturbing parts out of warped fascination a few times, but I wouldn't want to sit through the whole thing very often.)
