Two great movies from 1963. Dr. No is a great Bond movie but The Great Escape is one of my favorite movies if all time. I think McQueen would have been a fantastic Bond, even if he is American.

im going with the first and great Bond movie!!
Dr. No is the bond film that started it all and even today it is still one of the best. I really like the adventure aspect of the film because it makes it a lot more fun. The Great Escape however is a great war film and it has some great acting in it. The Great Escape gets my vote, but it is very close.
