Zombie Lake is bad in many ways, so much so that it becomes surreal. The victims of the zombies are often remarkably attractive, however, and so the film has a strange magic to it. The Green Hornet is not exactly bad. Christoph Waltz is funny enough to maintain interest. Otherwise it's mediocre and forgettable aside from a few almost amusing moments. Zombie Lake is simply more special.
