In my same argument about Evil Dead 2 being more of the non serious zombie film, the same applies to Return of the Living Dead. It's awesome and has Linnea Quigley and those blasted leg warmers. DotD was my first zombie film and is still my favorite.

return is way more fun and groovy however Dawn is so Smart and on point a very dark film and revolutionary for the Zombie genre.

I like and enjoy Return, but Dawn is in my opinion not just one of the greatest zombie movies ever, but one of the greatest films ever.
