I love both of these movies, but comparing them is almost unfair, because both films have different goals. If I had to choose between the two though, I'd have to go for Minority Report. As great as L.A. Story is (especially its ending, which ranks among one of the finest of all time for me), Minority Report just seems to be the better film all the way around, from the script to Steven Spielberg's direction. Minority Report is the winner!
