Is Steve Martin attempting to turn himself into Woody Allen? He was already casting himself as a aging romantic lead in a screenplay he wrote in the early 1990s. Now he's being lauded for his instrumentality at the Grammys. Did he a have an early 'funny ones' period too? No. Adaptation by so far, it's not funny. Like L.A. Story.
