Tarantino war! Gotta be Grindhouse. One of the most unique theater experiences ever.

I think Kill Bill was a better overall movie, though Grindhouse had some great parts.

Grindhouse was so insincere. It's for people who saw Death Race 2000 on youtube or something and now they think they're big B movie buffs. Putting fake film grain over Bruce Willis and Robert Deniro evokes the grindhouse spirit, right? Yeah, no. Kill Bill was much more of a labor of love, and it did more than just superficially look to the past, which is what made 70s exploitation so good; it wasn't all caught up in ironic postmodernism.
