Halloween has (suprisingly) aged better than Nihgt of the Living Dead, so I'm going for Halloween

Both in my top five love both to death very very very hard I have got to say I'm going with Night of the Living Dead for now

Halloween. Night of the Living Dead is pretty decent, but the ending is just horrible.
Two very influential horror flicks here. Aside from Halloween’s theme music, NOTLD is better in every regard.

I don't care much for the endings of either of these films. But I appreciate the craft of both--these have to be two of the most successful independent films of all time? I think I'll give it to NOTLD for not having Loomis's annoying speeches.

Both excellent low budget horrors, but Halloween wins for me. I love NOTLD, but Halloween scared me so much I had to look out the windows to make sure the shape wasn’t there. Night while very eerie and creepy, never gave me that fear. Though I think both are 10/10s.
