There's no denying that Black Christmas influenced Halloween and is the REAL beginning of the slasher that we all know and love, and while I love the movie to death and think it's one of the best horror films, Halloween created a truly memorable horror icon that has lasted to this day. And because of that, it takes the tops.

Two of the best slasher films ever made, clearly and while the popular choice is likely Halloween, Black Christmas is my favorite of all time, just comes down to personal preference, but I love both and they will both remain my favorites forever.
