For such a short film, Repas de Bébé (Baby's dinner), packs a lot in. Audiences at the time were impressed with the trees blowing in the wind in the background. Parents feeding their baby. Mortality. The family so vibrant but life is such a fleeting moment (and the child did, in fact, die at the young age of 24). This moment, however, lives on.
