Both are crappy remakes, but at least The Magnificent Seven didn't star a bunch of soccer moms.

Say what you want you about the Magnificent Seven remake it was 20x better then the fucking Ghostbusters remake that movie was pile of shit.

M7 was a pretty watered-down, carbon copy remake that didn't do much to build upon the source material. Ghostbusters reboot just shat all over the source material with its shit jokes that had nothing to do with the story. Most of the jokes felt improvised and were often cringey; they weren't classic one-liners like the jokes from the original.
