Ghost stories with central female leads who react in very different ways to their respective hauntings. It turns out that some rather horrible and predatorial men lie at the heart of each story too. I'm picking the Innocents for its subtlety and great central performance by Deborah Kerr. Volver is a good Almodovar, but this time it loses.
