Sunrise is pretty good but Metropolis is a masterpiece. It's not even close in my opinion.

Ok, well, calling Sunrise "pretty good" was probably an understatement. It's actually a truly great film. That being said, I still think Metropolis is a lot better.

When in Sunrise happens a certain character's change of heart,,, That was silent film at its best.
