No discussion yet on the butchering of two beloved classics from the same series?

It almost hurts to talk about them. I can't decide which one is worse. When The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe came out, I thought, "Eh, that was all right, but they can improve when it comes to the others." Now, two movies later, LWW looks really, really good.

Changing my vote here. Dawn Treader was arguably more disappointing, because the source material had more potential, and I expected Michael Apted to bring his A game ... and then the plot deviations were more nonsensical than the ones in Prince Caspian. However, Dawn Treader was the more visually appealing film, and Will Poulter's performance as Eustace outclasses everything about the earlier Caspian film. Also, the only scene in PC that I thought was absolutely perfect was the entrance into Narnia and the frolicking on the beach. There were a couple of those in Dawn Treader, and the ending with narration by Eustace made me tear up. For all these reasons I'm favoring the 3rd Narnia installment over the 2nd, although again, they're both mediocre movies and horrible adaptations.

Dawn Treader was just mediocre, and very disappointing.
