Wow this is a tough one. I enjoy both films so much, but I may have to go with Forrest and Bubba Gump on this one!

'Forrest Gump' is a fine movie and all, but 'Fight Club' is unadultered awesomness!

fight club is clearly a better movie, and happily sets at my number one, whereas forrest is at 17.

This is one of those choices where I could flip-flop based solely on my given mood. I THINK I would choose Fight Club nine times out of ten, but I'm not entirely sure....

Forrest Gump is the better movie, imo.

Yes Forrest Gump is a terrific movie no doubt, but for me I feel like I have to be in the right mood to watch certain movies like Forrest Gump. But with Fight Club I don't have to and the difference is that Fight Club is not just a movie about people beating the shit out of each other. It also talks about non-comsumerism and influence of the media and finding out something more. Fight Club is a complex and artistic film I can watch any time and it's most certainly better than Forrest Gump.
