I really don't like Forrest Gump. While GSH is problematic to say the least, it is quite fun to see Frodo taking a break from fighting the orcs of Mordor to fight the Bushwackers of East London. GSH wins.

I would have to say that Forrest Gump is the better film. So many memorable moments.
