Forrest Gump for me. It just means way more to me.
Both good, but I like Forrest Gump more. Not a movie I would rewatch though.

I don't really love Jaws much. Awesome first half and a disappointing second half. Certainly doesn't seem to age well at all...Gump on the other hand, is legend!

Great character movies, but Jaws has been timeless since 1975 and always quote it in the summer.
Looks like Forrest and Lt. Dan need a bigger shrimping boat.

Forrest Gump moved me way more than Jaws.
Though Forrest Gump is more of a feel good movie, and deserves all the praise it has gotten, I gotta go with Jaws. Both deliver in terms of suspense, casting, gripping storytelling and humor, but Jaws has a shark whereas Gump has a feather. Academically, Gump may be the better-made film, but I would like to see Jaws again, and I don't want to see Gump again.

Jaws wins easily. If there's a third option where every copy of Forrest Gump is eaten by a great white shark, that would win instead.

While Forrest Gump has great acting and does give me a lot of nostalgia, this isn't even close.
