Patch Adams vs. Along Came Polly

One of the saddest moments in movie history (or at least in a comedy) is when Monica Potter dies in Patch Adams. Despite such a horrific moment, Patch Adams is a tremendous film. Along Came Polly is a true comedy classic. The great connection with these two films is the late great Philip Seymour Hoffman

I've always viewed Patch Adams as an okay film. I'd probably like it better if it was more accurate. The real Patch Adams hated the movie, I think that speaks volumes. Both are fun films, either way. However, I feel that Along Came Polly will age better, in the long run.
