The strongest Sherlock versus one of the weakest. It's going to have to be The Great Game, if just for Moriarty's ending dialogue by the pool.

LOL @LesMizzie16 "Scandal" is the strongest ep of Sherlock.

The Great Game is not necessarily the strongest-- while I really liked the puzzles and the timer count down as well as the pool scenery, I personally enjoyed the romantic Irene Adler more, especially how she managed to outsmart Sherlock, then become outsmarted. The cliffhanger ending of GG is admittedly slightly superior to Belgravia's bittersweet ending, however.

I can't forgive Moffatt for turning Irene Adler, the one woman who earned Holmes's respect by outsmarting him, into a pawn of Moriarty's and a lovesick fool for Sherlock. Gross. I'll take The Great Game over Belgravia.
