Let's Scare Jessica to Death is a slow, moody horror movie that I found enjoyable. Calvaire has a sick humor to it that I liked, but overall I found it unpleasant and dull.

Calvaire is a continually engaging and deeply, deeply unsettling film. Jessica is a charming 70s period piece that has its occasional moments of creepiness, but nothing like Calvaire.
