A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum vs. Underworld: Evolution

I watched A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum mostly because Nicolas Roeg was the cinematographer, and I'm interested in his movies. The humor was pretty lame, though, and Zero Mostel kind of bugged me. Underworld: Evolution is the best Underworld movie (which doesn't mean a whole lot) and works quite well as a mood enhancer. I think the one real advantage that more recent movies have over stuff from the older days are the plentiful ass-kicking chicks (often in leather). I think many old shool actresses are more alluring than contemporary ones, but so very few of them got to kick ass. The thought of, say, Raquel Welch clad in leather with a sword in one hand and an Uzi in the other...

i haven't seen those movie, it's complected to compare between action movie and comedy movie :D
