Dr. Strangelove is technically better, but I can't think of a movie I've laughed harder or more often-er than Hot Fuzz.
Have to go with the energetic Hot Fuzz.

Possibly the two best comedies I've ever seen. Giving it to Hot Fuzz, such a fun film.

Dr. Strangelove is more intelligently crafted and has more thematic depth. But in terms of pure comedy, I think it's honestly a tie. I laughed harder in Strangelove than in anything in Hot Fuzz, but Hot Fuzz made me laugh more, and the characters endeared to me more. But in terms of filmmaking, I have to give it to Dr. Strangelove
