Balls. This is a close one. And very similar subject matter. I think I will go Thin Red Line, but that might be because I just saw it. To me, it seems to completely understand the questions someone would ask as they are a soldier, whatever the circumstance. And that is impressive. Not to mention how beautiful the film is (in form and visuals).
TTRL absolutely. It's in my top ten. Not saying anything bad about LFIJ, which is very good.

Thin Red Line by a mile but its in the same ballpark with Iwo Jima both good but I lived through RED LINE so I feel more Connected to it love the film!!

I really enjoy both, but The Thin Red Line takes this one.
