This might be the hardest decision yet.
Both movies are good starts to a series. Jurassic Park is a great movie and really explores what would happen if Dinosaurs were brought back to today's society. But Alien is a great sci-fi thriller and Sigourney Weaver does a great job playing Ripley the only survivor, besides Jones.

Alien is the best of the series but I still dont care for the series. None of the movies got my attention. Jurassic Park is a great movie. The music is really good, which is a plus.

Afew years ago, this would have been a no-brainer. But Jurassic Park just doesnt hold up as well as the rest of my top 10, and consequently I've demoted it. This is a REALLY close matchup now. I think Jurassic Park might just clinch it, but barely. JP wins for now, but it could change tomorrow.

Jurassic Park is a much better film.

I never thought I'd say this, but I think I'm going with Alien.
If it was aliens I would go with it, but not alien.
Alien all day. Gotta be honest here. It's been years since I've seen Jurassic Park. It was fun as a kid, but I don't know how enjoyable it'd be for me today. I'd probably enjoy it, but I can't see it being nearly as good as Alien.
