Alien has improved over time for me. ID4 is some fun stuff, but I'll go with Alien here.
Alien wins by a huge margin.

Eh, I haven't warmed up to Alien yet (and maybe never will). I'll take the lovably dumb Independence Day.

Pfft, I love both, and am not ashamed of that. But Alien is better.

There is no comparing these two. Alien is the far superior film in all respects.

Both are alien but independence day is winner because lot of destroying rather than alien
