Wow, two rare cases of sequels deemed superior to the original. In the case of Spider-Man, it's pretty obvious; for the Godfather, I'm less sure. But Godfather is superior to Spider-Man anyway.

yep, two great sequels, but The Godfather Part II wins this matchup.

I'm in the minority opinion that "Spider-Man 2" is weak. It has some moments, but there are way too many things about it that have never set right with me. "The Godfather, Part II" is nearly flawless, though. It wins.
