Wow. One of the toughest decisions I have faced. I think that Godfather II is better, but The Shining has more moments that stand out for me. The Shining by a very narrow margin.

The Godfather wins in my humble opinion. I think it was better in every aspect. Not that The Shining wasn't good.

Hard but I have to go with The Godfather Part II
The Shining had a bigger impact on me...
The Shining may be one of the greatest horror films of all time, but it loses badly here against Coppola's best work.

The Shining is my 2nd favourite horror film but GF2 is slightly better.
Shining is better even than The Godfather, it's easily better than his crap sequel...
