Two of my favorite genres are film noir and sci-fi, but for some reason 'Blade Runner' was medicore for me. Perhaps I just did not get it, have to give it a rewatch. 'Serenity' is one of my favorite films and I've watched it over ten times. I'm willingly to accept this might change but right now 'Serenity' wins.

It's not that I don't love Blade Runner, I just love Serenity a lot more.

Blade Runner any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Ridley Scott's epic takes this easily.
Blade Runner is overrated overhyped trashed favored by the feeble minded.
Feeble-minded? No offense, but aren't you the guy who loves the Wolverine movie?
I've tried and tried with Blade Runner, and it just hasn't worked for me. Maybe I'll try again. Right now, the Firefly/Serenity combo lives up to the geek hype. It's fantastic...
