Stand by me, while it was interesting the first time I saw it, it just plays the same every time I re-watch it. Truman, there is always something different there, something I didn't notice the last time watching.

Definitely The Truman Show. It's got so much going on behind it. Very good. Stand By Me is sweet. Over sweet. And if your childhood didn't happen to involve bonding with a group of mates, then it's doesn't have the redolant reek of nostalgia to make it more palatable.

Stand By Me. Easily one of the premium films of the '80s. The Truman Show was good though, damn good. Close one.
Few things beat Stand By Me. This is one of 'em. Two fantastic motion pictures...
