I've been so disappointed with sci-fi movies lately. I really wanted to like Skyline but, alas, I didn't. The Crazies, on the other hand, surprised me; I did not expect to like it and I did.
Skyline was terrible. Laughably so. The Crazies is actually a better film than the original.

I really enjoyed The Crazies. I thought Skyline was okay, but there wasn't anything memorable about it. I agree with the above, sci-fi movies have been pretty weak lately.
