Fear and Loathing drives away at the end, freeing you from the narrative. Naked Lunch drags you all the way down. I'm less moved by the points F&L is making, but more entertained by the film. An emotional tie, I'll pick comedy over tragedy (today).

Nsked Lunch is "my" kiind of weird. Fear and Loathing doesn't really have a plot for me to easily follow.
