Nekromantik vs. Diary of the Dead

I really hated Diary of the Dead. Nekromantik isn't exactly my kind of movie, but at least it didn't fall back on self-important (and trite) moralizing masquerading as social commentary. I kind of dreaded watching Nekromantik because of the subject matter. The presentation is so odd and silly that all the grossness seemed surreal more than anything else. Diary of the Dead has no imagination and nothing to say. It's easily one of the worst zombie flicks I've ever seen.
