I know, right? One is a favorite from childhood, that I could never turn down the opportunity to watch, and one is a newfound dark fantastical favorite. Urggh...

I just recently watched both of these movies...Hook for about the 20th time and Pan's Labyrinth for the first time. As a kid, Hook was probably one of my favorite movies, and while I like Dustin Hoffman and Robin Williams, I have to go with Pan's Labyrinth. It's probably one of the top three foreign films I've seen, and I was completely captivated by it, even though I found certain parts rather creepy.

I am not sure what the fuss is all about. Hook is not such a good movie.
