Both cool films. Goldblum's performance in The Fly is astounding though. The actors in A Scanner Darkly, while decent, were not particularly impressive.

For me this is all about story. A scanner Darkly is a better story by far for my tastes. The first time I saw it in the theater I was not sure if I even understood it much less liked it. Then I sat down and watched it again. Once I was able to get passed the animation I loved this movie. Absolutely brilliant storytelling.
