Another great Stephen King adaption matchup. Green Mile gets my vote.

Stand By Me. It's the better story.

Both are fantastic. Stand By Me gets the edge because its more fun.

When the night . . . Has come . . . And the land is dark!

Stand By Me was one of my favorite movies growing up, my brother and I must have watched it at least twenty times the summer that it was first on Cable, I was like ten so the kids swearing and puking and stuff was [pretty awesome to me, can't forget the leech scene, anyhoo, then there's the fact that four of Rob Reiner's movies have been in my top ten (including this) at one time or another, yeah. I love many of the Stephen King movies, I'm a sucker for a good emotional film, both of these fit the bill and I am a fan of both of them, but, uh, Stand By Me gets it.

And the moon is the only light we' ll see. . . No I won't be afraid.

Stand by Me. The Green Mile wastes too much time with nothing, but nothing. It was good, but Stand by Me is a far better movie Imo.

The Green Mile is far superior.

Stand By Me...in a coin flip...

Too tough to call. Both Great movies! Can't pick between them
