Rises was Batman Begins, Inception and The Dark Knight all rolled into one. Pure perfection!

Inception is an excellent masterpiece where Christopher Nolan showcases one of the most talented actors of all time: Leonardo DiCaprio. The action, effects, plot and sound are all very original and with a brilliant cast who can go wrong? The Dark Knight Rises is another great film but it just doesn't live up to the standards set by Inception and The Dark Knight. At least its better than Batman Begins.
Inception is my favorite Nolan movie.

The two best Nolan movies up to date. Inception is probably slightly superior as a movie, but TDKR has the Batman bonus. I honestly don't know which one I should pick...
TDKR wins pretty easily i really dont like inception i find it boring and you have to think alot to fully understand it. Ill rewatch it soon enough and may have a different opinion. So yeah batman wins this one.
I think Inception is Nolan's best film and I think TDKR is his 3rd-weakest (Above BB and Insomnia).

Seriously, screw TDKR. I haven't been so offended by a mainstream movie's politics since... I can't even remember when.

Yeah, Inception is still Christopher Nolan's best.
This hatred toward Rises is completely unjustified. Like Tom Hardy explained, it's a multi-layered flick with massive amounts of action. Haters gonna hate I guess. Both have fabulous plot driven stories with superb acting by their respective ensemble casts. They benefit vastly from JGL's off-the-charts charisma, TDKR profiting slightly more. Inception wins this by a nose for being Nolan's most original work since Memento.

Christopher Nolan has never made a bad movie.I mean, Following and Insomnia weren't great, but they were still good. Memento it's still, in my opinion, his best, but Inception is probably second.Or maybe The Dark Knight is. I don't know. My point is, between these two, Inception definitely wins. Probably.
