Interesting.
Barry Lyndon. Loved Hulse...but head to head, I'll go with Kubrick.
This took me about 10 minutes to figure out, and even after choosing Amadeus, I'm not sure if I should have picked Barry Lyndon instead. My head says BL, but my heart says Amadeus (Which has been in my top 20 for a long time).

Both brilliant, but while Amadeus is much more fun and even entertaining, Barry Lyndon is just a perfect piece of... everything it is.

They are both beautiful in their own way. Amadeus does an amazing job portraying a Master like Mozart, while the other one is an amazing book adaptation with the most beautiful cinematography I have ever seen and the magic touch of Kubrick.
