As a period film, There Will Be Blood is far better. The Prestige is great but this is TWBB we're talking about. The acting in Blood was some of the best I've seen in recent years. PTA and Nolan are certainly the best filmmakers out there right now. But I think PTA is better.

Wow this is a tough matchup I wouldn't have expected. I'm going to have to go with The Prestige for now, but that might be due to recency bias.
