In a lot of these old silent films they really seemed to be reaching for content. Nosferatu wins because the boring plague section is only part of it where the boring part in Faust is pretty much a majority of the movie.
Nosferatu absolutely thumps Faust....

extremely close so this could easily change, but i'm leaning towards faust
